A young teenager who was studying VCE came to see me because he needed to be able to control his stress and anxiety that was associated with his Exams.  He felt a heaviness and pain in his chest, sweating and shallow breathing.  
He said that if this didn't help him, then his Doctor recommended he see a Psychiatrist.
After sitting down with him and helping him feel relaxed, we commenced a Hypnotherapy session which lasted nearly 3 hours.
Two weeks later, he said he felt different.  He no longer suffered from those symptoms.  It was as if they had just disappeared.
He therefore didn't need to see a Psychiatrist and felt more confident in succeeding with the rest of the year.
